A group of women from prominent think tanks in Brussels has established the European Network of Female Policy Experts – an initiative for networking, leadership development, and capacity building activities. The network is currently working to create a online database of female experts, called “The Brussels Binder” and address the issue of underrepresentation of women in Brussels policy debates. The database will be readily available to the Brussels policy communities, it will increase the pool of experts to draw from and enable female experts to become more visible, and contribute new, innovative approaches to policy debates, democratic engagement, and civic participation.
