Diversity & Inclusion Gender Gender Mainstreaming Mine Action

I have been working towards gender equality, diversity and inclusion in mine action since 2009 and have witnessed first-hand challenges and progress in mine affected countries. I have worked extensively with all international operators and with most donors, national authorities and States parties to the Antipersonnel Mine Ban Convention and the Convention on Cluster Munitions. The NGO I led from 2009 to 2019 (the Gender and Mine Action Programme - GMAP) became a reference for gender and diversity mainstreaming in the sector and was integrated into the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining in March 2019, where I continue to lead the work towards gender equality, diversity and inclusion in mine action.

Thank you @CathrinSchaer for spreading the word on this important topic. https://twitter.com/dwnews/status/1635505675789910016
