Dr Fabiana Di Lorenzo is a responsible sourcing expert with extensive background in public-private partnerships and ethical supply chains, as well as an in-depth experience in responsible sourcing, sustainability strategy implementation, risk management, and ESG in mineral and metal supply chains. She has worked on more than 30 minerals and metals, advising small and blue-chip companies, OEMs, investment firms, governments, international organisations and standard setters. Fabiana is often consulted on human rights, sustainable supply chains, conflict- and terrorism-financing, as well as on navigating periods of heightened risk. Her main expertise lies in gold, cobalt and the green economy minerals, where she excelled in downstream and mining companies’ and refiners’ advisory on responsible sourcing and aligning with UNGP while providing effective engagement strategies and solutions to support market entry and major responsible investments.
Fabiana has worked on responsible sourcing and supply chains since 2005 with exposure to various commodities including agricultural products, garments, minerals and metals. Prior to joining Levin Sources, she worked for the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the International Training Centre of the ILO, for the not-for-profit sector in West Africa and as a trainer and consultant on public private partnerships as well as for the UK government.
