MSc Lina Silveira, female, is the Project Manager in FRCT for FORWARD project (H2020) that promotes research excellence on Outermost Regions. She has a Degree in European Studies and International Relations from the University of the Azores (Portugal) and a Master's Degree in International Relations from CERIS - Centre Européen de Recherches Internationales et Stratégiques (Belgium). Regionally, she has worked as an Officer in the Secretary for European Affairs and External Cooperation, for the Azores Regional Government (Portugal). Internationally, she has almost 10 years’ experience, based in Brussels, working in organizations such as the European Parliament and the EMRC - European Market Research Center - an international ONG that promotes international business conferences for entrepreneurs and governments, namely in African countries. More recently, she has worked as a European affairs consultant and a credentialed and federated Executive Coach, in Brussels and in Portugal. Presently she chairs ta Professional Coaching Association in Azores (ACPA) that promotes professionals working as coaches and the advantages of coaching as a personal and executive development tool. She is a colunist from one of the oldest newspaper in Portugal - Açoriano Oriental, were she writes frequently opinion articles on european and international politics. She develops activities as a political activist in the area of gender equality, at a regional, national and international level.Recently, in March 2019, she has participated in an international event organizes by FESP and Tancsis Mihaly Alapitvany, in Budapest, as a speaker. She has also experience as moderator and as an executive events organizer.
