Laure is works as Public Policy Assistant Manager Healthcare at GS1 Global Office. She is based in Brussels, Belgium, and works with her local GS1 colleagues in 114 countries across the world.
She manages the GS1 Healthcare Global Public Policy Work Team, which comprises pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, solution providers and GS1 Member Organisations. It has the mission to interact with decision makers globally and to provide strategic leadership on the use of GS1 standards in the healthcare sector to enhance patient safety and supply chain efficiencies worldwide.
In the area of Medical Devices, she supports the GS1 Global Unique Device Identification (UDI) project.
A graduate of Sciences Po Paris, Laure started her career at the European Parliament, where she covered the Internal Market and Consumer Protection and the Environement and Public Health committees. She then worked at the Brussels-based Public Affairs representation of Edenred, a French multinational company. She has developed expertise in EU and international public affairs, and has sound experience in the fields traceability and product identification systems.
