The Brussels Binder and the Permanent Representation of the Netherlands to the EU sign a memorandum of understanding 

The Permanent Representation of the Netherlands to the EU and the Brussels Binder commit to strengthening their cooperation to promote the role of women and gender inclusivity in policy-making and policy discussions in Brussels. 

The Brussels Binder has a new strategic partner on board – the Dutch Permanent Representation to the EU, who is joining our mission and commitments to promote the role of women and gender inclusivity in policy-making and policy discussions in Brussels. 

This partnership is rooted in our common understanding that gender equality in all its diversity should be a central part of the European policy debate and commit to strengthening our cooperation to achieve this.

On 24 February our very own Sarah Henkel and Angels Gimenez Bofarull met with PSC Ambassador Delphine Pronk, Ambassador de Groot, and the staff of the Dutch Permanent Representation, to discuss the partnership and future joint plans. 

In line with our partnership, the Dutch representation is organising a webinar “Our Women in Foreign Policy” on 8 March 2021.

They’ll be joined by the Netherlands’ Ambassador to NATO Marisa Gerards, Chief Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of the European Council Maryem van den Heuvel (tbc), PSC-Ambassador Delphine Pronk and EU special representative for the Middle East Peace Process Susanna Terstal. The conversion will be led by our President Corinna Horst.
