Meet Our New Board!

We are thrilled to announce the new composition of the Brussels Binder Board! 

Emőke Péter has been appointed as our new President, after joining the Board last year. We also warmly welcome two new Board members: Alicia Woodall and Amitis Sedghi, who have both been actively involved in various Brussels Binder working groups. 

We asked all three about their vision for the period to come. 

Emőke Péter: “Greater representation means better policies. My top priority is to reaffirm our commitment to the core mission — ensuring that women's voices are at the heart of EU policy panel discussions.”

Alicia Woodall: “A common cause is an excellent way to unite people. I’m grateful to be able to participate further within the Brussels Binder for both the sake of the volunteers and the message we convey.”

Amitis Sedghi: “Diversity is strength. I aim to enhance The Brussels Binder’s role as a catalyst for change, ensuring diverse voices define and lead inclusive EU policy discussions.”

With this exciting new chapter, we must also say farewell to some remarkable individuals. Charlotte Brandsma and Paola Maniga, co-founders of the Brussels Binder in 2017, leave behind a legacy that will not be forgotten.

Special thanks to our outgoing President, Dr Audrey-Flore Ngomsik, for her outstanding leadership since 2020, particularly her work advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Binder.
